The Limnohori – Agrapidia curative spring gushes in the environment of the lake Zazari Amyntaio. Throughout the years, the shore of lake Zazari has been an ideal residential area, as we deduce from the remains of settlements from the Neolithic Era and the Bronze Age found there. During the Turkish Rule, the area was also inhabited, since there was a mosque in the village until recent years.

The old bath, a small, outdoor, stone built tank is located at the foot of the hill and springs from its bed.

Curative Water    

The temperature of the water is 28-29^oC

Characterisation: Tepid Na- HCO₃– SO₄– K- F- B hypotonic, slightly radioactive curative water of the municipality of Amyntaio.

Therapeutic Indications: Ailments of the musculoskeletal and digestive system.

Heath thermalsm facilities

The facilities have two small pools, five individual tubs for women and five individual tubs for men and an Olympic size pool.

The hydrotherapy centre is located in a beautiful and healthy natural environment, only 2,5 km away from Argos Orestiko. The area where the baths are located is of great historic and archaeological interest. The petrified forest of Nostimo, with the impressive palaiontological findings and the Roman city Dioklitianoupoli, which was founded after the Roman conquest near the river Aliakmonas in the location of Armenohori are considered very important.

Curative Water

The temperature of the water that gushes from the spring is 15^oC

Characterisation: Cold HCO₃– Ca- Na- Mg- Cl- hydrosulphide, hypotonic curative water of the municipality of Argos Orestiko

Therapeutic Indications: Rheumatisms, skin ailments, arthritis. Ailments of the respiratory system.

Heath thermalsm facilities

The construction of the hydrotherapy centre was completed in 1998 and it is one of the most modern hydrotherapy centres as far as equipment and services are concerned. It has individual tubs, where the temperature of the curative water is 32^oC. It is open from June to September, every day of the week, between the hours 08:00 am and 20:00 pm. There is also a guest house for the visitors in the area.

Curative Natural Resource Kivotos

Kivotos village is on the road of Grevena – Neapoli – Kastoria. The natural beauties and the excellent climate are a major attraction for the visitors. The spring is located 4 km north of the village and was used by the inhabitants of the area for treatment, a fact that is testified by the old buildings of the area. The beneficial properties of Kivotos springs have been known for at least a century. Testimonies from the inhabitants take us back to the beginning of the 20^th century. The curative water gushes from two water drilling wells that were built so that the area could be developed. It is a natural environment, which was developed and continues to develop in a way that highlights the natural characteristics of the area. Today, the facilities do not operate.

Characterisation: Cold Na- Ca- K- Li- SO4- HCO3- Br –F-HS hypotonic, slightly radioactive curative water of the municipality of Grevena.

Therapeutic Indications: Skin ailments, rheumatisms, ailments of the respiratory and urinary system.

Curative Natural Resource Xino Nero

The village Xino Nero, with its springs rich in acid-carbonic, calcium natural mineral water, is located 30 km southeast of Florina. The first water bottling plant was built by the French, who camped in the area during the 1st World War for their soldiers need for water. Scientific research has praised the curative action of this water mainly for the kidneys and liver. The water that comes from the Xino Nero springs is bottled in a factory of automated bottling that operates from 1958. The area of Xino Nero is rich in supplies of mineral water. In 1992, it became the property of the then community of Xino Nero as a community company. When the community became part of the wider municipality of Amyntaio it became a municipal company. The company bottles and sells the natural mineral sour water as well as fizzy drinks.
