Board Meeting of the Association of Municipalities Thermal Springs Greece in Queen Olga Hotel
PRESS RELEASE
The meeting of the Board of Directors (BOD) is scheduled to take place at the QUEEN OLGA hotel in Thessaloniki, on Friday 9th October 2015 and at 17:00 p.m. The mayors and councillors of the 54 municipalities – members of the Hellenic Association of Municipalities with Thermal Springs are going to be present in the meeting.
During the meeting, we are to discuss issues that concern our country’s spa tourism and also suggestions for promoting it in Greece and abroad.
Our attention will be especially drawn on issues concerning infrastructure, the legislative framework of the operators of Curative Resources, the promotion of the Hellenic Spa Tourism and, generally, of its nature.
If we want, at some point in the future, to create a national spa industry that could attract investments in order to achieve growth and be profitable for our local and national economy, we have to determine, at long last, our strategies for the spa tourism on common grounds.
