Four kilometres northeast of Molivos is Eftalou (or Eythalou). The land of Ilias Venezis and Argyris Eftaliotis, is a coastal tourist resort with beautiful beaches and crystal waters. The Eythalou curative spring has been known, as historic sources indicate, from ancient times, but it became a treatment place for various ailments in the Middle Ages. During the time when Lesvos bloomed, both economically and culturally, at the end of the 19th and the beginning of the 20th century, the curative springs were a luxurious place for vacation and treatment for the bourgeois of the region.

Characterisation: Superheated Cl- Na- Ca- K- B hypotonic, slightly radioactive curative water of the municipality of Lesvos

Health thermalism facilities
The baths of Eftalou have a group tub (spring) and 7 bathtubs. They are open all year round, from 09:00 am to 19:00 pm in summer and from 11:00 am to 16:00 pm in winter. Visitors can find rooms to rent and hotels in the area.
