The curative springs of Polichnitos are located at the southwest part of the island, 45 km away from Mytilene and 1.5 km away from the traditional settlement of Polichnitos. The waters gush from many springs, through volcanic rocks, thus creating – along with the scenery- a rare environment, noteworthy for every visitor. It is a unique “natural, thermalistic, geothermal park”.

The temperature of the water is 67-92oC
Characterisation: Superheated Cl- Na- K- B hypotonic curative water of the municipality of Lesvos
Therapeutic Indications: Rheumatisms, arthritis, sciatica, gynecological ailments, neuritis, skin ailments
Health thermalism facilities
The bath facilities have two group and two individual pools. The temperature of the water is 40.5 – 41.5oC. The baths are open all year round, except March. The hydrotherapy centre is open between the hours 10:00 am and 20:00 pm in the summer and from 14:00 pm to 19:00 pm in winter. There are no accommodation and eating establishments available in the area of the baths.
